Sport and exercise is a very good way to get rid of and work on good health, both physically and mentally. These are well-known and proven propositions.
I recently worked as a Group Leader / Educational staff member at an institution where children, with various complex behavioral problems, are taken care of internally after intervention by the court. I always went to the gym with these children and supervised them in small groups during a fitness training. This was experienced as very positive by the young people.
The personal attention, being sporty, the results they achieved. This resulted in calmer behavior because they could use up their energy, useful time, collaboration and more self-confidence.
